Meet the Doctors
Randall E. Myers, O.D., F.A.A.O.
A graduate of Indiana University College of Optometry, Dr. Myers joined the practice in 1975. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Locally he has served as president of the Cadillac Boosters Club and Cadillac Rotary Club, receiving the Distinguished Rotarian Award. As a member of the Cadillac Methodist Church, Dr. Myers has served on many boards and is a choir member. He volunteers as a soccer coach and received the Friend of Education Award for many years for teaching eye anatomy and vision care in area schools.
Richard L. McDonald, O.D.
After graduating from Pine River High School, Dr. McDonald served in the U.S. Navy for twelve years. He joined the practice in 1999, having graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association, and a 2000 graduate of the Cadillac Leadership program. After being away from the area for nearly twenty years, Dr. McDonald, his wife Sherry (also a PRHS graduate), and their three children are happy to be "back home." His family is very involved in the youth sports program in the LeRoy area.
Amanda L. Johnston, O.D.
After graduating from Azle High School in Texas, Dr. Johnston attended Baylor University and graduated in August 2001. After college, she met and married her husband Jason, a Michigan State University graduate from St. Joseph, Michigan. Dr. Johnston graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in May 2007. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association and is a 2008 graduate of the Cadillac Leadership Program. Dr. Johnston, Jason, and their three sons are excited to call Cadillac home.
